Mohandas Gandhi was born in Porbander, Gujarat, India on October 2, 1869. Gandhi was schooled in Rajkot, and married Kasturba Bai at the age of 13 years old. They had 4 sons, and he moved to London in 1888 at 18 years old to become a lawyer. Gandhi sailed back to India from London on June 12, 1891. He left India again for Natal in May 1893 to learn more about law and to make a bit of money. There he went from being a shy man to being a resilient and influential leader.
